Federal Grand Jury Indicts 44 From Northeast Tennessee on Methamphetamine Charges
44 people from East Tennessee…including more than 20 from the Tri Cities are indicted in a huge Methamphetamine distribution case. A Federal Grand Jury in Greeneville returned a 30 count indictment against those individuals and alleges each of those charged was involved in a conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of meth into East Tennessee. If convicted each faces a minimum mandatory prison term of ten years and up to life in prison and a fine of up to ten thousand dollars.
