Pennsylvania Fugitive Captured In Abingdon

A tip to the Washington County Virginia Sheriff’s office has led to two arrests, including a wanted fugitive from Pennsylvania. Sheriff Fred Newman says deputies arrested 70 year old William Edward Halsey of Pennsylvania and charged him with fugitive from justice and various drug offenses. Halsey was arrested at a home located in Buckingham Court in Abingdon. Also arrested at the scene is 54 year old Maureen Johnson for felony possession of Methamphetamine and marijuana possession and distribution charges. Both are being held without bond in Abingdon.
