Hawkins Meth Dealer Gets 17 Years
A Hawkins County Methamphetamine drug dealer is headed to prison for 17 years after being sentenced recently in Greeneeville District Court. Jonathan Delph and 17 other co-defendants were charged on a 49 count indictment including drug conspiracy, drug trafficking and firearms charges. Delph admitted to distributing more than 50 grams of meth into the region in 2016. Delph was recorded on tape four separate occasions dealing the drug to an undercover agent. Four of Delph’s co defendants have already been sentenced and the other 13 have agreed to plead guilty and are awaiting sentencing.
