Suicide Rates On The Rise In Northeast Tennessee

According to a recent report, suicide rates in Sullivan County and surrounding areas are on the rise. The report…based on 2016 date, states the rate of suicide deaths in Northeast Tennessee is higher than any other region in the state. The number of suicide deaths in Sullivan County jumped to 33 and that’s the highest rate recorded in Sullivan County since 2007. The rates in Washington and Hawkins County declined for the same time period.
