Church Hill Man Arrested On Drugs And Weapons Charges

A Church Hill man is behind bars after his arrest on Meth and Cocaine trafficking charges stemming from a traffic stop. 25 year old Jacob Donald Meyers was pulled over for driving in the median on Highway 11W. After initially refusing to pull over for police, Meyers was finally stopped and authorities discovered nearly 12 grams of meth and baggies inside the vehicle and a small amount of cocaine. Meyers was also found to be in possession of a loaded .357 Ruger revolver.Meyers is being held in the Hawkins County jail without bond.
