Suspicious Vehicle Lands Man In Jail

A call about a suspicious vehicle has landed a Jonesborough man in jail. 46 year old Steven Goodwin, ran from police and fell to the ground, but managed to get up a run away. As police approached Goodwin he showed a knife to officers in a threatening manner. Goodwin was then tased by officers but once again managed to elude police. He was finally caught by a K9 officer after barricading himself in a home.Goodwin is scheduled for arraignment Monday and is being held on a one hundred thousand dollar bond. He’s charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest and resisting arrest.
