Slatery Withdraws Motion To Take Over “Baby Doe” Case
Tennessee Attorney General Harbert Slatery has withdrawn his motion to take over the “Baby Doe” case. The said case aims to hold pharmaceutical companies and doctors accountable for their actions in the opioid epidemic. Slatery had previously shown willingness to settle with defendants; rather than go to trial. Now a Nashville law firm representing 14 district attorneys general in Tennessee have full control of the case and are moving forward.
