Tennessee Legislators Call For Education Commissioner McQueen To Step Down
Tuesday, the Tennessee Department of Education announced the company it hired to administer the state’s end of year testing program may have have been hacked. And now some state legislators are calling for the resignation of Commissoner of Education Candace McQueen due to the reoccurring problems with the TNReady online testing program. Legislators say the tests are to measure success of students and teachers and its time Commissioner McQueen be held accountable for her success in regards to leadership within the department of education and its handling of the TNReady program.
