Second Body Pulled From Watauga River Identified

The body of a man found in the Watauga River last weekend has been identified. Carter County authorities say the body of 35 year old Bobby Wayne Mobley was discovered in the waterway last Sunday by several boys who were fishing. The body was found near Sycamore Shoals Road. The cause of death has not yet been determined. Mobley’s body is the second body pulled from the Watauga in a month. Authorities discovered the body of Jacob Hampton in the river back in March.
