TVA Reports Next Stage of Boone Dam Construction Nearing Completion

The Tennessee Valley Authority reports that construction on both the upstream and downstream sections of Boone Dam are nearing completion. Over 200,000 tons of rock that was locally sourced has been used to stabilize the inner and outter sides. The next part of the project called a seepage barrier will commence this fall. The also TVA says the project is still on track for it’s 2022 finish.
