University Of Tennessee’s First Female Chancellor Removed From Position
The University of Tennessee’s first female Chancellor has been removed from her job and placed in a new position as a faculty member. UT President Dr. Joe DiPietro says the move was made because a change in leadership was needed. DiPietro says Dr. Beverly Davenport is now removed from the position of Chancellor and is a faculty member on the Flagship campus in Knoxville. Davenport was also the highest paid Chancellor in UT history.
