Two Year Old Girl Drowns In Unicoi County Swimming Pool Accident

What appears to have been a tragic, drowning accident in Unicoi County has claimed the life of a two year old child. Sheriff Mike Hensley says the girl’s parents were looking for her around twelve thirty Sunday afternoon when they found her floating in a swimming pool at a home on Bacus Hensley Road. A deputy performed CPR on the child until EMS arrived. The toddler later died at Johnson City Medical Center.
