Bristol Virginia And Counties In SWV Receive Huge Federal Housing Grant
The City of Bristol Virginia along with several counties in Southwest Virginia have received a portion of more than 43 million dollars in federal grants to support affordable housing development across the Commonwealth. Bristol received more than 800 thousand dollars for housing development projects. Marion received more than 500 thousand dollars to help boost is housing efforts. Other localities in Southwest Virginia reveiving funds include: Norton, Wytheville, Coeburn, Duffield, Jonesville, and Abingdon.
