Woman Shot And Wounded…Juvenile Suspect Identified As Shooter…No Charges Filed

A Bristol Virginia woman is hospitalized after a shooting and a juvenile has been identified as a suspect. The shooting occurred in the 1300 block of New Hampshire Avenue late last night. Upon arrival, Bristol Virginia Police discovered a woman with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The woman was outside her home at the time of the shooting. The victim is being treated for non life threatening injuries. The juvenile has not been charged or arrested. Police believe the victim and suspect knew one another. An investigation is ongoing.
