2017 Crash in Moorsville Leads to Indictment
An October crash that left one dead in Moorsville on Highway 11W has now resulted in the indictment of a Hawkins County woman.
45-year-old Remonia Blevins is charged with two counts of reckless aggravated assault and one count of vehicular homicide according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The night of the incident, Blevins’ car collided with two vehicles. One was struck head on and 42-year-old passenger Bobby Lewis was partially ejected from the automobile. He died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Alcohol was considered to be a factor in the accident. Blevins will be arraigned in Hawkins County Criminal Court on August 31st.
