Deputies Find Couple Asleep In Car With Drugs, Weapons, Money And Young Child

Sullivan County Deputies have arrested a couple who were found asleep in their car with various drugs, large amounts of cash, weapons, ammunition…and a young child inside the vehicle. Michael Rhodes and Mariah Shipley were found asleep in the vehicle on highway 126. Authorities discovered marijunan, more than 28 grams of methamphetamine, pills, currency, a nine mm handgun along with ammunition and a young child who was in the back seat of the vehicle.Both Rhodes and Shipley face child endangerment and numerous drug charges.
