No Access…Commissioners Vote Down Resolution That Would Have Funded Road To New High School
If a multi million dollar access road leading to Sullivan County’s new West Ridge High School is going to be built, it won’t be anytime soon. Tuesday night, county commissioners voted against a resolution that would have allowed the highway commissioner to use roughly three hundred thousand dollars for design work on the project. The proposed road would have linked Interstate 81 with the Lynn Road site of the new school. It will now be up to a new highway commissioner, new school board, or even a new commission to decide if they want to build the thoroughfare
