No New Taxes For Johnson City Property Owners

Property owners in Johnson City will not be paying any increases on next years property taxes. This comes after city council members approved a more than 250 million dollars spending document for next year without a tax increase. The budget includes just over one million dollars for captial projects as well as funds for a 150th anniversary celebration…one side note…while property taxes remained the same, the city’s solid waste collection fee is going up from nine dollars to eleven dollars a month.
