Charges Pending In Triple Fatality Crash In Rogersville

Charges are pending against a Kingsport driver after three people are killed when the vehicle he was driving sideswiped another vehicle in Rogersville over the weekend. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a Chevy Silverado driven by 53 year old David Kelly, Jr was heading south on 11W when he entered oncoming traffic. Kelly’s truck struck a vehicle driven by 37 year old Deborah Lynn Kimberlin of Jonesville. The impact killed Kimberlin and her two passengers, 67 year old Jimmy Kimberlin, and 51 year old Nancy Kimberlin, all of Jonesville. Two others were also injured in the crash when Kelly’s vehicle rolled over and hit their vehicle before coming to a rest on the northbound shoulder of the highway.
