Carter County Four, Charged With Attempted Murder Appear In Court

Four Carter County residents…all charged with attempted murder make their first court appearance. 31 year old Kasey Miller, 20 year old Matthew Duane Dye, 38 year old Ross Bee Kelly, and 41 year old Michael Todd Silcox are accused of having a victim beaten and stabbed for stealing their drugs. Court records indicate Kasey Miller, was seen on video tape striking the victim with a bat. The video then shows a male suspect apparently stabbing the victim several times in the neck. The four will appear next in court on July 11.
