Fugitives Involved in Indiana Robbery and Police Pursuit Captured by Johnson City Police

Fugitives from another state were captured last week by the Johnson City Police Department.

According to a news release from the department, 24-year-old Eugene Pettit and 21-year-old Rodney Brown, were taken into custody and charged with being fugitives from justice.

The Muncie, Indiana police informed the Johnson City Police that Pettit and Brown had allegedly robbed and were involved in a police pursuit in the Muncie area.

Both men were booked at the Washington County Detention Center, and now await bond hearings in the General Sessions Court.
