Marion Man Sentenced for Shooting Home Invader

A Marion, Virignia man will spend the next 30 days in jail and forfeit his concealed carry permit after he was accused of shooting an intruder inside his home.

According to the complaint 35-year-old William Andrew Sheets observed two individuals breaking into his residence. He then entered throught he back door to cofront the two intruders.

An altercation ensued and sheets shot one in the buttocks. Sheets arrrest was met with outrage in the community leading many residents to question their rights to defend their homes and family.
