Meth Use in the State of Tennessee Up, Despite Crackdown

Methamphetamine use is at an all time high in the state of Tennessee. This is despite a crackdown in recent years on meth labs and obtaining the ingredients to make the destructive substance.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation points to Mexico as the source of a lot of meth found in the state. With home-brew operations being cracked down upon and decrease in local production, Mexican distributors have filled the void in the market.
