Authorities Say Officer Involved In Two Vehicle Crash…At Fault

A Mount Carmel Tennessee Police Officer and another motorist were not injured during a recent crash, but authorities have determined, while the incident was an accident,it was the fault of the officer. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says officer Cody Bussell was in pursuit of a speeder on Main Street when he thought the driver in front of him was letting him pass. The driver actually made a turn and the two collided causing several thousand dollars in damages to both vehicles.So far Mount Carmel Police officials have determined if any disciplinary action will be taken against Bussell.
