Tazewell Couple Accused In Double Shooting Still Being Held In West Virginia

Two suspects charged with malicious wounding and larceny following a double shooting in Tazewell County are still being held in West Virginia while they awaiting extradition back to Tazewell County. 34 year old Terry James Bandy and 29 year old Ashley Lynn Mayfield are accused of shooting and seriously injuring a male and female in Tazewell County on July first and then fled the area. The two were later apprehended in West Virginia. Tazewell County authorities continue to review the case to determine if additional charges will be filed in Tazewell County when the two are returned.
