Road Work In Abingdon Expected To Cause Some Temporary Delays

Travel through one of southwest Virginia’s heavily visited towns could see delays for the next couples of days. Work crews will conducting re-striping and other street marking in the downtown district. The work will cause some temporary delays to the traveling public and traffic will be redirected through the work zones by flaggers. Good news is the work is expected to be complete for the beginning of next weekend’s Virginia Highland’s Festival.
