Motorcycle Crash In Elizabethton Kills One

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is reporting one person is dead after a Thursday afternoon motorcycle crash in Elizabethton. The name of the driver of the cycle has not yet been released. But, THP says the driver of the motorcycle was traveling on Upper Gap Creek Road when the driver of the cycle pulled into the path of an oncoming truck. The crash ignited the truck but the driver and a passenger managed to escape safely. The crash is still under investigation.
