Tri Cities Airport Receives Nearly Two Million Dollars In Federal Funds For Improvements

You should soon be seeing some infrastructure improvements at Tri Cities Airport after the aviation hub receives nearly two million dollars in federal funds. Congressman Phil Roe made the announcement of one point eight million dollars has been awarded to the airport. Those funds will be used to construct a 34 thousand square foot aircraft parking area, replacing rescue and firefighting equipment requirements and additions and repairs to a runway and taxiways.
