Carter County Mourns Loss Of Deputy

The Carter County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of there own.

Lieutenant Brian “Bull” Durham passed away on Thrusday at the age of 41. Durham was an active control commander at the time of his death. He served with the Carter County Sheriff’s office for 14 years.

Durham had a reputation of a man of integrity and a gentle giant.
