Kingsport Man Gets Life Sentence On Drug Trafficking Conviction
A Kingsport man who brought large amounts of methamphetamine into the region has been sentenced to life in prison. 36 year old Michael Potter was convicted for his role in a large methamphetamine drug trafficking operation in Northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. Potter will be behind bars for the rest of his life for bringing hundreds of pounds of the illegal drug in to the region. Potter was previously convicted of two or more felony drug trafficking charges which qualified him for the life sentence.
