Job Fair for Bristol Compressors Employees to be held at Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center
An official place for the upcoming job fair for former Bristol Compressors employees has been announced.
According to a press release from the Washington County, Virginia Office of County Administrator, multiple groups are coming together to host a job fair for Bristol Compressors Employees and their families.
The event will be held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center on August 10th from 9:00 A.M. To 3:00 P.M.
Groups that are sponsoring the job fair include the New River/Mount Rogers Workforce Development Board, the Virginia Employment Commission, Washington County, and the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center.
The goal of the job fair is to connect employers with immediate hiring needs to displaced workers.
