One Dead After Motorcycle Loses Control…And Hits Oncoming Ambulance

One person is dead following a motorcycle crash involving a Johnson County ambulance. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, criminal charges are pending. The crash happened over the weekend on State Route 91 at Dollarsville Road in Johnson County when a motorcycle driven by Loren E. Garland, of Butler crested a hill and hit the brakes due to a stopped car in the road. The motorcycle lost control and ran into oncoming traffic and was hit by a Johnson County ambulance carrying a passenger. The passenger on the motorcycle, 45 year old Betsy A. Brown was killed in the crash. The driver and passenger in the ambulance were not injured…The investigation is continuing.
