Woman Arrested After Police Find Her in Possession of Nearly a Pound of Meth
A woman is behind bars after police say they found nearly a pound of methamphetamine in her vehicle. She was stopped within 1,000 feet of a school.
Police intially pulled over 30-year-old Petra Asucena Lozano Rodriguez for a light law violation. They then discovered she was driving on a suspended license. During the course of her arrest authorities found money. One of the bills had white residue on it which Rodriguez admitted to being meth.
A search of the vehicle led officers to find a clear bag containing 14.7 ounces of the substance, alongside digital scales.
