Sullivan North Placed on Short Lockdown after Guns were found in student’s car

Sullivan North High School was under lockdown Monday after a resource officer conducted a search of a student vehicle.

Reports from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says the officer found multiple guns including a rifle and a shotgun in the vehicle.

During the search, the Sullivan County school system placed the high school on a short lockdown.

The lockdown is now over and charges are pending. No one at the school was harmed.
