Pair Sentenced For Major Credit Card Skimming Scheme In Southwest Virginia

A Florida duo is sentenced for illegally skimming credit card numbers from gas stations in Southwest Virginia. 25 year old Yunior Manuel Torres-Blanco was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and 22 year old Ynaisel Garcia received a three years in prison. Authorities found the two in possession of two credit card skimmers, and 86 credit cards, which nearly all had been re coded with stolen credit information. The pair used the scheme to purchase more than 40 thousand dollars in merchandise.
