Bristol, VA Police Continue Their Search for Robbery Suspects after false information led to Lengthy Standoff

A robbery victim, who was also assaulted, continues to recover from injuries and Bristol, Virginia police continue their search for the two alleged suspects.

SWAT teams converged on the Johnson Court Apartments Saturday night and staged a standoff for several hours after police received false information the two suspects were inside one of the units. SWAT team members tried to communicate unsuccessfully and then broke down the door to the apartment to find it empty.
