Pair Arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft and Meth Possession

Johnson City Police have arrested and charged a pair after they were found in possession of a stolen vehicle and methamphetamine.

Police initially responded to the Johnson City Medical Center for a stolen vehicle. 27-year-old Angel Jeffords and 29-year-old Joshua Saylor were spotted walking away from the vehicle on W Market St.

Police stopped the duo and a search of Jeffords revealed a stolen cell phone and methamphetamine on her person.

Jeffords and Saylor are being held in the Washington County Detention center. Saylor is being on a $5,000 bond and Jeffords is being held on a $10,000 bond.
