Elizabethton Shooting Victim Dies In Hospital

A victim shot in an early Sunday morning incident in Elizabethton has died from those injuries while being treated in a local hospital. Police have not released the name of the victim…or the suspect, who has been questioned by police, but not charged. The shooting took place at a home at 220 West I Street around three A.M. Sunday. Police say the victim did not live at the residence and the suspect knew the victim. The case is expected to be handed over to the the District Attorneys office.
