Shooting In Pennington Gap, Leaves One Man Dead…Suspect Still At Large

There’s been a fatal shooting in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Lee County Sheriff Gary Parsons says authorities received a call last evening from someone who said he had been shot at his home in the 100 block of Virginia Avenue. Police arrived to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Virginia State Police and Lee County authorities are investigating the shooting and are searching for the suspect and a gold Nissan Altima in connection with the shooting.
