KHRA Receives Funds For Overhaul Work On Public Housing Units

A 51 million dollar public housing upgrade in Kingsport receives some much needed grant money to begin the project. Officials with the Tennessee Housing Development Agency recently presented Kingsport’s Housing and Redevelopment program three checks totally more than two million dollars. The funds will allow for the demolition and rehabilitation work to begin on three separate projects involving Kingsport’s Public Housing units.
