Pair Sentenced For Credit Card Skimming Scheme

Two Florida men who stole credit card information from gas pumps in northeast Tennessee have been sentenced to federal prison. 49 year old Ricardo Viera was sentenced to 40 months in prison and 37 year old Luis Raul Hernandez Ugando received a four year sentence. The two used skimmer devices on gas pumps to obtain hundreds of credit and debit card account information. The two men then used the cards to make more than 13 thousand dollars in purchases in Rogersville, Kingsport, Johnson City, Greeneville and other stores throughout Northeast Tennessee.
