Johnson City Commissioners Looking For Replacement For Vacant Seat On Council
Johnson City Commissioners are making plans to find a replacement for the late Dr. Ralph Van Brocklin, who passed away unexpectedly earlier this month. Commissioners met in a special called meeting Thursday and most commissioners say they prefer to open the process to anyone willing and qualified to serve. Mayor David Tomita suggested looking for someone who has already had experience in elected city government. A decision on a replacement is expected by October 18th.
