Pair Headed to Prison after Robbing Rogersville Pharmacy

After stealing narcotics from a Morristown pharmacy last fall, a Tennessee man will serve the next 10 years in prison.

40-year-old Benjamin Joel Brooks of Newport robbed the East End Pharmacy at gunpoint in October 2017. He was found several minutes later with the assistance of a a K9 officer lying in Kudzu bushes.

47-year-old Randy Hurley of Newport is also charged in the robbery and is scheduled to be sentenced next Thursday.
