BVU Customers To Save Nearly 60 Dollars On Energy Costs This Year
Here’s something you don’t hear everyday, but Bristol Virginia Utility customers are going to be saving more than 50 dollars this year on energy costs. The Tennessee Valley Authority raised its base rate price on October first, but instead of passing on the increase to customers, BVU will be absorbing the costs of the rate hike by TVA saving customers about 58 dollars per year on energy costs. The rate reduction is expected to be approved and goes into effect December 1st.
