Police Pursuit Leads To Arrest Of Man Already Wanted On Felony Evading Charges

A man in Sullivan County, already wanted on felony charges is now facing even more serious charges after leading police on a pursuit that ends in Virginia with the suspects arrest. 26 year old Dakota Orfield was spotted driving in the Bloomingdale Community and was wanted for felony evading, driving on a suspended license and other charges. Orfield refused to stop and fled the scene, then struck a sheriff’s department cruiser that caused minor damage. No injuries were reported. Orfield will now be charged with aggravated assault for taking aim at a sheriff’s office vehicle.
