Child Sex Crimes Offender, Released Early From Jail…Arrested Again

A former southwest Virginia teacher, guilty of sex crimes in Sullivan County is now facing more than 50 sex crimes charges in Virginia. Jeremy Dale Francis is being held in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail after being arrested for taking indecent liberties with a minor, child pornography, and soliciting a juvenile. The charges stem from when Francis was employed at Rye Cove High School. Francis was sentenced to two years in prison on the earlier conviction and was released early on probation.
