Former Kingsport Saloon Donated To Faith Based Organization
The owner of a Kingsport nightclub recently shut down after a murder and building code violations is now donating the property to a Kingsport, faith based organization. The Hog Wild Saloon was to be demolished, but Engage Tri Cities plans to use the property now as a job resource center for work the organization does with the homeless and low income residents in the area. The saloon was the scene of the murder of 20 year old Brett Rodgers of Kingsport. William Newkirk of Bristol, Virginia is charged in that homicide.
