Commissioners From Sullivan And Washington Counties Meet To Discuss Regional Cooperation

It was a historic day day for the regions two largest forms of county government as Commissioners from Sullivan and Washington County gathered at the Tri Cities Airport for a joint meeting of the two governments. Sullivan County Mayor Richard Venable and Washington County Mayor Joe Grandy headed the meeting and Rep, Phil Roe declared October 18 as Regional Cooperation Day. The two sides met to discuss the importance of working together for the betterment of the entire region.
