Hawkins County Man Charged With Arson, Threatens To Harm Own Mother

A Hawkins County man has been charged with arson after threatening to burn down his house and harm his mother. Heath Johnson was seen walking away from his home that he allegedly set on fire. Detectives say Johnson had previously made threats to burn down the house and to harm his mother. The home received heavy smoke damage throughout, and the living room area received heavy damages. No injuries were reported and Johnson is being held in Hawkins County.
