Police Chase Of Stolen Vehicle Results In Two Injuries And Police Cruisers Damaged

A Virginia State Trooper was injured and three Wise County Sheriff’s Office patrol cruisers were rammed during a high speed chase Thursday morning. The pursuit took place on Highway 23 in Wise County when a car stolen from Kentucky was spotted in the town of Wise. A female passenger in the Kentucky car also was injured as well. The Trooper’s cruiser was also hit in the chase.The pursuit came to an end at the Addington Avenue intersection and the investigation is continuing.
